Description

The Educational and Scientific Center on Mount Golija, with a height configuration of Bs+Gf+2+At, has been carefully designed to naturally and functionally integrate into the mountainous environment, respecting the site’s topography and the ambient values of the landscape.

The building represents a contemporary interpretation of mountain architecture – a massive roof structure with a pronounced slope evokes traditional alpine houses, while modern materials such as wood, glass, and dark metal convey the aesthetics of sustainable and contemporary construction.

The façade combines glass surfaces, providing maximum daylight and visual connection with nature, with wooden and metal elements that emphasize the dynamism of the volume and bring warmth to the overall expression.

Located in the very heart of Golija, the center gains a unique context – surrounded by dense forest and mountain scenery, it becomes a space that enables a symbiosis between architecture, education, and nature, ideal for scientific work, knowledge exchange, and an inspiring stay.
