By chosen architectural solution, KUCURA GERONTOLOGICAL CENTER was completely reconstructed in the manner of almost extreme formative and functional reaffirmation of the ground-floor free-standing building.
Based on design approach, through formative and functional reorganization, dominant urban function of the public purposes facility, categorized through system of providing social care services and primary health care for the elderly was precisely designed in a completely new spirit, enabling better offer and more premises to users, new formation of the building and, above all, more acceptable and modern exploitation level.
This primarily led to providing this type of social services and user protection system become a representative model for improved social and cultural services to the elderly, via overall environment and visual acceptability of the building, its full completeness in terms of the content, social interactivity and full integration with the surrounding space in which users live.
The building of KUCURA GERONTOLOGICAL CENTER was, in accordance with above principles of functional and formative treatment, designed by using high-quality materials and equipment with 12 accommodation units, common areas, healthcare premises, kitchen block, technical and maintenance areas, and separate areas intended for staff.
