Built in the 30s of the 20th century in Niška Banja, this building is characterized by sophistication and elegance that was enough to attract even King Alexander I Karađorđević, when it was named the Kraljeva Vila (King’s Villa).
Kraljeva Vila is located in the immediate vicinity of Republic Square and the park, on the promenade Staza zdravlja that stretches along the hillside of the forest and connects the Center of Culture of Niška Banja with the city center.
The original facade has been preserved in its entirety with the restoration of the facade woodwork, which has a characteristic appearance and significant value. In the back of the building, an extension is planned in the form of a glass cube, an unobtrusive, airy form that complements the existing building in its refinement. Against the solidity of the existing building of Villa, with its fragile materialization that reflects the forest environment, the newly designed glass form unobtrusively contributes to the architectural expression of Villa.
